Module 1

Primitive objects are modeled after everyday items I use. I experimented with different deformers, textures and materials to make the objects as realistic as possible.

Activity 2

Playing with points and edges. Tutorial Exercise 4. A cute Kuromi phone stand. Solid shapes, has many small componenets and overall seems challenging enough to do. Picture taken after modelling the stand. Picture for what the stand looks like from behind. Finished model of the Kuromi phone stand. Side picture of the stand. You can see the reflected light on the object, which reveals to me what sort of texture I should use. Object manager of the Kuromi phone stand. Picture taken after importing the image of Kuromi and adjusting its size in Materials. Process of figuring out how to sculpt her face. Another side picture of the stand. You can see the little 'hands' Kuromi has that supports any mobile device. Picture taken of creating the base of a jewellery box. A small-sized jewellery box. Pretty sturdy. Another picture taken while doing the tutorials. Another angle taken of the jewellery box. An attempt to imitate the texture of the original object. It reflects the same light as the original one. Picture of a very adorable Chikawa airpod case. Another picture taken after modelling the seams/stitches on the jewellery box. I watched a 'How to Render Realistic Leather' tutorial online. Just another picture taken of the box. Object manager of the jewellery box. Back picture of the airpod case. There is a fold that connects the two parts of the case, and the cute small figure lays on top of it. Picture taken after I created the base of the airpod case. I played around with segments, and learn how to create different shapes from a cube. Bottom angle of the airpod case. Model of the airpod case. I had a lot of fun making the little guy. Am figuring out how to paint its surface. Top angle of the airpod case. Back view of little guy who lays on top of the airpod case.
